Hello!

This is a new template for Site News. I just decided I'd make it since I've been in a rut. Was pretty fun to make, even if the current one is stuck with <3

This past month was real crazy. All 9 days of this month of September were really quite crazy.

Event: DuelCon2025

DuelCon2025 came to us in the middle of the summer and left as one of the most participated-in contests in site history! This team writing event pitted Hope against Despair in a contest of creativity, subversion, and storytelling. In the end, Hope triumphed over despair, keeping humanity's flame burning for just a bit longer. Thanks to all who battled it out and made the competition truly unforgettable!

Star Critic

Each month the Crit Crew rewards a "Star Critic" that is chosen using a point-based system. These points are given based on the number of crits given and for individual actions that are good examples of what we want to accomplish as a team. At the end of the month, whoever did the best job gets a front page "Critic Spotlight" featuring an article of their choice and the golden Star Critic role on our Discord for the following month.

Staff Updates

We had a lot of promotions and other staff updates this month! Here's the latest on staff positions:

Red-eyes Dragoon has been promoted to Admin and will be heading the Disciplinary Team.

DrAkimoto has been promoted to Admin and will be heading the GLMP.

Super-Robot14 rejoined as moderator.

LiminalDoctor rejoined and was promoted to moderator.

Ambersight was promoted to moderator.

Liurnia, and

ReyDay have left staff.

Right now we're looking for new staff members willing to:

Perform maintenance tasks on the site

GLMP Updates

We are also here to share with you the latest updates from our Greenlighter Mentorship Program, the group of Greenlighters who approve pages for posting and manage the rewriting of pages onsite.

Sky3 has been made the Trimming Team's captain

ForestIsWatching is now the Rewrite Team captain.

InspectingCritters has been promoted to Greenflame Trialee.

The Future

Well, we don't have any horoscopes for you. Lousy newspaper, we know. But we can tell you some of the things the staff team has been thinking of implementing soon:

Turning the Admins into vampires so they can rule forever. They might not like it but they'll learn
Removing all the level pages from the site. REVOLUTION!
Switching the wiki's UI language to French because we know our audience
Backroomscon 2025 in Oshkosh, see you there!
