agenda for technology project just ignore lol
  • Page 5 - System Development
    • Development of Circuit
      • Show at least 3 steps on how you have developed the circuit from the initial idea to final design
      • There should be an image of the final circuit with components labelled and highlight development steps
      • You should write as well about the development of the circuit and how you've added functions to it
    • Development of PCB
      • Show the auto route from circuit wizard and explain why it's bad (fly wires and tracks not tidy and difficult to solder)
    • Development of PCB 2
      • Step 1 designing PCB connecting up pins 5, 14, 2, 3, 4 and inserting a power source and your download socked and on / off switch
      • Step 2 Designing PCB and connecting up inputs that you will be using and why you have included a drop down resistor fo these
      • Step 3 This step should show and image of your final circuit before small developments (no LED incidator light! remove it!!!)
      • Work back from final to get these images.
      • Your annotation should explain your PCB and why you have done these things e.g. explain sizes of terminal blocks and things.
  • Page 6 - System Development Continued
    • System Development
      • You should show your final PCB layout and label all the components on the diagram. Highlight any changes from page 5 e.g. indicator light and explain them
      • You should show the final PCB on current flow to show it works and stuff
      • You should lalso fit a list of components and their cost. You could use the bill of materials feature on Circuit Wizard
    • Flowchart Development
      • Start with a basic flowchart which shows you understand how to program your Genie 18. NOT the final program!
      • This should be a more advanced program which shows you using separate inputs and outputs and also shows the binary for your inputs and outputs
      • Then show a final program you're really going to use! Include sub routines / macros for top marks mmm yum marks gotta love those
      • Discuss your programs with reference to your problem identification and justifying how you've solved that problem
  • Page 7 - Casing Development
    • CRITICAL INFO regarding your system
      • Picture of the circuit
      • Picture of the battery pack
      • State the size of both
      • Say a minimum size for the casing
    • Card Model(s) of the casing
      • Show your PCB and and battery inserted into the card casing and identify good and bad pointss
