After just about the most productive meeting you could have hoped for with your colleagues Andrew and Justin, you sit back in your chair at the neat little round table in a conference room set up at the top of Base Alpha.
Despite being arguably the most mature and composed member of the aptly named “Oversight” Board of Directors of the M.E.G., your curiosity does get the best of you at times. This is one such time, as you dart your eyes over to the laptop your brother Justin has left logged on — the sharpest tool in the shed, for sure — for all the world to witness the files he keeps tucked away in his Overseer account on the M.E.G. Database’s cloud storage.
After peeping your head out the glass door, making absolutely sure the first and third Overseers have long since departed down the hall, you slowly creep over to Overseer A’s chair and take control of his computer mouse.
Everything seems in order. You daren’t venture into his personal files, you give him that much respect and you would hope for it in return. That being said, you do find a most curious folder laying on his desktop… “Yellow’s Folder”.
Yellow? Who? Had his account been compromised by some conniving hacker? Before hir departure, the Senior Archivist had warned you of the Database’s security, good enough to deter less advanced threats but flaky at the worst of times. Whatever or whoever it was, you had absolutely no faith in Justin to notice it in the first place, let alone take care of it himself.
